JDPC Farm Project :
The JDPC farm is an on-going project which one of its aims is to serve as a fund raising venture for the JDPC. The farm coordinator in person of Mr. Jackson, who is also the JDPC Coordinator of Badagry Deanery, works with some other JDPC members and the Director to ensure the farm begin its operations in earnest.
The farm project covers fishery, piggery, poultry, etc so as to serve as a source of income for workers on the farm and as a means of raising funds to carry out some JDPC activities
Presently, the clearing of the farm land, the building of ponds for the fishes, building the cages for the Chickens are all ongoing. We are setting up all necessary things to ensure the farm begins full operations in the year 2018.

Lenten Campaign 2017 :
The Lenten Campaign which is an annual programme of the Catholic Bishops Conference of Nigeria (CBCN) was held in designated Parishes within the Archdiocese of Lagos. The theme for this year’s Campaign was: … This annual programme is coordinated by the Episcopal Commission for Justice and Peace through the Catholic Secretariat of Nigeria and implemented by each Archdiocese/Diocese of the Federation. The purpose of the program is to apply the values of the Gospel to the problems and challenges of society and promote social justice, human development and sustainable peace in the Country.
Lenten Campaigners training for the 2017 Lenten Campaign was held on the 25th day of February 2017 in other to train the JDPC delegates on how to carry out a successful Lenten Campaign in their various Deaneries and Parishes.
The Lenten Campaign Booklets from the Catholic Secretariat, Abuja, which contained articles on the Lenten Campaign theme and daily reflections throughout the Lenten Season, were distributed across the Deaneries for sales. Seventy-five (75) parishes were visited for the 2017 Lenten Campaign and the proceeds from the Campaign amounted to … Ten Percent (10%) of the proceeds went to the deaneries in proportion to their contribution.
